This file contains descriptions of the most recent updates to the Bahá'í Library CD-ROM.

Version 1.01 Summary:
======================

This update will fix the display of toolbar in Windows 2000 and XP operating systems. Additionally the
application window close button (x) and the scrolling of the text window have also been updated.


Scrolling of text window: 
==========================

This update fixes the sudden page up and down behaviour of the text window of the Bahá'í Writings. As
the text in the window is displayed, the new scroll buttons will move the cursor up and down the length
of the window size and not one book page at a time. This can also be done through the page up and down
arrow keys on the keyboard. 

Please note that smaller books, such as the Hidden Words, will have numerous pages in one window, so
when scrolling up or down, the page numbering will reflect the number of pages moved in that window.
This could be a large number, such as ten pages at time. 

In larger books, such as Lights of Guidance, page breaks are fewer in number in any window and the
scroll will again move only through the page breaks that are displayed in that window.

The number page breaks in one window is determined by book and the number of pages scrolled up or
down reflects the movement of the cursor in the text window and it is in no way connected to the pages
of the book displayed. 

We hope this clarification answers any future questions that may arise for page displays.

In addition to the scroll bar this update also fixes incompatibilities with windows color schemes that
sometimes caused the text window to have a black background and black text.


Toolbar Display:
=================

The toolbar will now display correctly in Windows 2000 and XP. The toolbar can be moved and placed any
where on the screen.


Application Close button:
==========================

The application close button at the top right of the window is now operational. As before the
application can be closed either by that button or the green Exit button on the bottom menu.
